Frequently asked questions
Can I supply PDF documents to print from?
Yes please! If you supply print ready PDFs with bleeds, crop marks and at the correct size, you will ensure the production process is smoother and more cost effective.
What is bleed?
Bleed is required to ensure edge-to-edge colour on your final product. Any background colours or images need to expand your final size by 3mm on all sides to allow for any movement on the guillotine.
What is the minimum print run for litho printing?
It depends on the format and size of the job really. Digital printing really comes into its own for smaller quantities, but we will be able to advise the most cost effective way to print your project.
How can I make my product more durable?
Lamination is a good option as this helps reduce marking as well as giving a luxurious finish and making your product stand out. There are a few options here, gloss, silk, matt and soft touch.
